Živa Ploj Peršuh is becoming increasingly well established in Slovenian musical life and continues to surprise with convincing performances.

Internationally, she has conducted the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wurttemberg Philharmonic Orchestra Reutlingen, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, the Wroclaw Philharmonic, the Serbian Camerata Academica Novi Sad and Camerata Serbica. She has collaborated on musical projects in Mannheim and at the Lucerne Festival (with the Simón Bolívar Orchestra from Venezuela). She has conducted the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor (in 2013 she collaborated in the production of Evgeniy Onjegin), the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Camerata Serbica and the Camerata Academica Novi Sad, the Orchestra Festine, The String Chamber Orchestra of the Ljubljana Academy of Music and the International Orchestra of the Branimir Slokar Academy. She toured with the latter she had concerts in Italy, Serbia, Great Britain and Spain. Since 2012 she is the conductor of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Ljubljana Conservatory of Music.
Živa Ploj Peršuh is the Artistic Director of the Festine Concert Cycle in Ljubljana. Within the Cycle she encourages the performance of different programmes, from baroque to contemporary music and she regularly collaborates and encourages Slovene composers. She is intensively involved in the education of children and youth with the Family Cycle Festinice. She works with such Slovene musicians as Janez Podlesek, Igor Mitrović, Jože Kotar, Mihael Šuler, Boštjan Lipovšek and Sabina Cvilak. In the field of contemporary dance she is closely connected to the EnKnapGroup and the choreographer Iztok Kovač.
She is the Artistic Director of the Branimir Slokar Academy within which she works with such soloists as Branimir Slokar, Wolfram Christ, Latica Honda-Rosenberg, Jens-Peter Maintz, Reinhold Friedrich, Gregory Ahss, Konstantin Pfiz, Yuri Kalnits, Gilad Karni and others.
